Chatarunga, UpDog, DownDog
Limited Capacity filling up

An exploratory interactive workshop focusing on clearing the rote patterns engrained in your practice of "familiar" postures. A fresh perspective applied to three of the most common yoga postures together in their flowing sequence, shedding new light in all the dynamic corners of the moving yoga body. We will access spinal freedom through a focus on core stability linking the pelvis with the shoulder girdle through hands-on partner exchange. This method will change the stability and strength of your practice as a whole as you transition from feeling the opposition created by another person and then, are able to create that resistance with in yourself.

Students should bring/wear: Yoga Mat, An open mind

Take this class if: You are a teacher or you seek to improve form focus, and correct postures, want healthy shoulders

Great for Beginners!

Blindfolded Chakra Dance Experience
Limited Capacity filling up

“An all-out celebration of mindful living,” is a quote from a participant of this workshop. Starting off with a talk and a brief description about what to expect, Taraleigh lays out the ground rules for everyone so they can easily have their own experience and journey throughout the class. She provides a safe space for exploration of the unknown and acknowledges that you may feel uncomfortable at times, but to resist the urge to remove the blindfold. Not everything in life is comfortable, but what if you sat with it instead of resisted it? That is just one of the many lessons you'll learn during the class. You'll move and groove for one full hour with your sight taken away. Before each song is played from Taraleigh’s epic playlist, she tells a story with an inquiry that is linked to each chakra.

The music along with Taraleigh’s mini guided meditations help everyone to fully let loose, get down and leave all their judgements behind. It’s amazing what you allow to be seen when you can’t see. This class is an opportunity to dance like no one’s watching in a safe and supportive atmosphere. This workshop is appropriate for everyone. If you have a health condition where it’s unsafe to dance blindfolded, you can participate sitting in a chair or find a spot by a wall.

Students should expect: Students should expect to move however they please. The class is broken up with mini meditations and Chakra work with plenty of opportunities to move intuitively. Most people who take this class for the first time don't know what to expect. If it strikes your curiosity cord, try it out! You won't regret it.

All Levels Welcome & Invited!
