Kim Chase has taught environmental science education for over 10 years. She taught animal behavior, biology and wildlife conservation to children and adults at the Bronx Zoo and she served as the science education coordinator for the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. She currently works at the Manitou school teaching after school classes in wilderness survival skills and art. She is also a musician and teaches music at the Manitou School and at the Philipstown Recreation Center. She currently lives in Cold Spring and has two children ages 5 and 2.
