Sandy Splits; Hamstring Helper

If you’re working on side and middle splits, trying to deepen pigeon pose, or if you just want to gain flexibility in your hamstrings, this is the class for you. Practicing in the sand is a wonderful way to encourage range of motion: Not only does it offer a natural “propping” action to help lift the body to protect joints and over stretching, it can also safely ease you into the full expression of a seated posture. The class will begin with a core warm up, leading to a slow Vinyasa-style flow to build heat and to release hips and lower back before moving into deeper hamstring stretching. Getting sandy never felt so good!
