Yoga Nidra is the practice of yogic sleep where the practitioner enters the space between waking and dreaming to heal the body, mind, spirit and manifest an intention, or sankalpa. Through guided relaxation, withdrawing the senses, and visualization techniques we will enter on a journey to the higher self, releasing old patterns and stepping into our full potential and purpose. Yoga Nidra has been found to reduce stress, anxiety, and tension. It has been found to be a useful technique to assist with trauma. This technique is practiced in Savasana, lying on the ground, however students may practice it seated if need be. 

Students should bring/wear: Comfortable clothes, Yoga Mat, Water bottle, An open mind, bolsters, a blanket

Students should expect: A practice lying on the ground entering deep relaxation through guided meditation and imagery.
